PAUL C. PERACCHIO, DMD
Dr. Peracchio graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut, Cum Laude, in 1983 and the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine in 1987. He completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hospital of St. Raphael/Yale University in 1991. In addition to his degree with honors, he is a member of the Alpha Delta Honor Society and has earned the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award for Outstanding Achievements.
Dr. Peracchio achieved Board Certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery on March 15, 1993. Dr. Peracchio has attended many conferences and courses on Implants and Wisdom Teeth removal. He has a special interest in replacing teeth with dental implants. Dr. Peracchio has been recertified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a staff member at Vernon Memorial Hospital and Rockville General Hospital.
Dr. Peracchio is currently Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Vernon Memorial Hospital, Rockville General Hospital and ECHN for the past two years. He is actively involved in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Connecticut Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, Tolland County Dental Society, and Eastern Connecticut Dental Study Club. He is Past President of the Vernon Dental Society.
Dr. Peracchio resides in Bolton with his wife, Elizabeth, daughter Alyssa, and son, Nicholas. He is an avid mountain and road biker and skier.
